*Shakes Fist* TECHNOLOGY!
The last project we had to do was make a movie trailer based on a book and create the trailer with the accursed Windows Movie Maker. So we decided on Are You My Mother, the classic kid's book right? And we think we are gonna be clever and make it a drama, but keep it simple. How hard could it be, right? WRONG. Windows Movie Maker is the bane of my existence. For the past 5 days it has done everything to make my life (in Digital Design) a living hell. It has succeeded. After 5 days of editing, losing footage, attempting to edit, the computer freezing, editing, crying, editing, cursing Bill Gates, and editing some more, I finally have come out with this to show for it:
In case you missed that, it was nothing. Because that darn Movie Maker managed to delete my whole project. But y'know what, I take that back. It wasn't Movie Maker, it was the computer itself. I know that because it also deleted my SonyAcid project. So instead of showing off a super cool project, I am typing this post. I'm sorry you have missed out on my awesome movie. Rant over. I'm going to Pinterest.

Pieces of Me Photoshop
This is a photoshop of things that make up me. I included some pretty random stuff and to make it authentic I tried to use pictures already in my photos (or some better versions of pictures I already had). I made the background a porch on a rainy day, because I love the smell of rain, reading on porches, and watching thunder storms. Dat's me!

Friends in San Francisco
This is a beautiful night on the town in San Francisco. This is Jeff, and his human friend Bo, spending a best friend's day at the lovely Golden Gate Bridge. It seems as though they've missed their flight back home! That's okay though, they can spend tomorrow sailing in the Pacific. What a pair.

I Done Good
This is my quiz. As you can see, I got an A. I would like to thank my parents for all their love and support. This A came from blood, sweat, tears, and hours of hard work in the studio. Thank you to Karch. Never could have done it without you. I share this A with you, my brotha. Thank you.

Weavesilk!
These are two weavesilks that I made on Weavesilk.com. Its a lot like Bomomo except in my opinion, its a lot cooler.
Ray Kurzweil
Ray Kurzweil is a well known Google innovator. What he is most known for is his predictions of technology for the future. The one that may be the craziest, is the idea that in around twenty five years humans will be able to live forever. Crazy stuff, huh? Maybe that will one day be a possibility, but seeing as we can't cure cancer or even herpes, I doubt immortality is right around the corner.

Bomomo
So today we learned about the website Bomomo. Its one of those websites that doesn't seem to have a real purpose, but its great for killing time. Basically, you make pretty designs and patterns with different colors. It is a bit relaxing! My teacher called it color therapy, and I think she is totally right. Here is one that I made:
So, like I said, its a collection of patterns and colors. the website is bomomo.com. (It kind of reminds me of Mojojojo from the Powerpuff Girls;)

Google Glass
Google is at it again. Now, new and improved, with even more ways to sneak their ways into your lives. Their latest strategy? Google Glass. These are "glasses" that are basically used as a hands- free computer on your eyeballs. You can surf the web, take pictures, get directions, check up on your twitter, and even make video calls! The glasses are, as said by Google "Used to help you connect with the world around you". But are they really going to help you connect? Will they perhaps prove to be more of a distraction? They are quickly becoming relevant, and soon, before we know it, they could become another house hold device, like Google itself. Google seems to have a knack for that. Who knows? This little beauty could end up replacing the cell phone. Here is a close up:
Looks familiar...
Who knows. Soon it could be this...

Blockbuster
This is really funny because a lot of the time I think "One day people aren't going to know what a music store was" and these people actually gave you a glimpse of the future. One day, libraries are going to be sitting in history books. Think about it, kids of today don't even know what VHS is. The people who made this video have apparently thought about it a lot and that's awesome.

Wordle While We Work!
T
This is basicly Doctor Who in a Wordle! I made two because I like how the first one looks more, but the second one has better words.
Google Doodle
A Google Doodle is kind of like a personalized template for your Google search engine. They change about every day! I picked 2 of my favorite Google Doodles( It would've been 3, but Cassie used the other one first). So these are the two Google Doodles that I chose. They are totally unrelated, so don't try to put them together in your mind. The first is called Little Nemo goes to Google-land. I thought it was awesome because it started off with just the first slide, and then every time you clicked it, Little Nemo would fall through that slide into the next one until he ended up in his bed at the bottom slide. The Second Doodle is a Doctor Who one. It was up on the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who (the TV show). There have been eleven actors to play the Doctor on the show, so the middle "O" changes and shows each Doctor. I stopped mine on the eleventh and most recent Doctor because, well, he's friggin awesome.

Get to Know Chelsea
Hey everybody! I'm Chelsea Turner, I'm learning how to blog, and in all honesty I am horrible with computers so this is going to be an interesting class. I tend to babble. My hobbies include eating, watching Netflix, and sleeping. I love all things Disney, but then again, what human being with a soul doesn't. My favorite book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, my favorite movies are the movie based on that book along with the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, my favorite musical is Company, and my favorite song changes on the daily. Since I spend 85% of my time watching movies, I hope to get into the business some day. My life is a never ending monorail of un-activity and boringness, so I haven't a clue what to blog about. Eh, I guess we'll see. Did I mention I babble?
